This morning about 5:30 am a rather violent storm came through the Pittsburgh area. If you’re reading this blog from anywhere in our region, you were likely awakened by the bright lightning and loud claps of thunder and the enormous amount of rain that fell in a short period of time.
Now, just several hours later, it’s sunny, warm and beautiful outside.
It’s interesting how many times nature (and particularly weather) seems to mirror what happens in the spirit realm. It is often after a very violent “storm” in the spirit world that something beautiful is created. It takes a confrontation with evil, a strong debate or even a powerful exchange to bring about change, but once it happens wonderful and desirable things usually occur.
So be encouraged. If you’re in the midst of a storm, brighter days are ahead. If it’s “sunny” in your world, it’s probably because you’ve been willing to trust the Lord in those difficult days.
