Over the past few days, I've become increasingly aware of how easily we loose sight of the centrality of prayer to all that we are and do in the Kingdom of God.
Pray without ceasing is an exhortation that Paul gives us in Thessalonians for a reason. It's how we communicate with God.
But prayer also moves the hand of God on our behalf in circumstances that don't seem to be going our way. Read Exodus 17:8-13 to see an incredibly powerful illustration of how prayer enabled God's people to win an amazing battle!
I wish I could say I had the "prayer thing" down. I don't. However, I'm grateful for the fact that it's never long between reminders from the Lord that prayer must remain a priority!
Blessings,
Dr. Jay
