The Power Of Optimism
In a recent series of meetings regarding the plans that we are putting together for the New Year, I was reminded by the Lord that faith and our expectations that God is working on our behalf is critical to everything we determine to do for the kingdom!
The simple verse in Hebrews 11:6 “without faith it is impossible to please God” is an axiom that needs to be embraced regarding every endeavor we undertake. Too often, people think negatively about their lives, their dreams and even their relationships thus almost securing the very outcome they fear.
The Lord wants us to look at life and His challenges and opportunities and believe that He is big enough to provide, to direct, and certainly to be with us in everything we face. This fills me with a certain sense of optimism and confidence that leads to unexpected blessings and sometimes unexplainable results because God does care about His name and His gloriousness!
Whatever might be facing you today, remember that God has already been there, knows what you need to get through it and His promise to be your “Jehovah Jireh”. A God who is more than enough. (see where this was first used in scripture in Genesis 22 in the story of Abraham and Isaac).
Believing for the best with you as we launch into the New Year!
