A FullWeekend

It’s been an interesting fact of my life that on Friday afternoon’s many people will say to me “have a great weekend” meaning that they hope that I will get some time away from all the responsibilities that I have just like most every “normal” person does! Weekends are part of the rhythm of life and they are time to escape the daily burdens and responsibilities of work and so on, but in ministry it’s entirely different!

Weekends are the most intense times of the highest responsibilities. On the other hand, weekends are also the time of the greatest visible fruit of ministry. That will be no exception this weekend as we host Jason and Kelly Kuhn (better known as Kelly Frey to many of you) as they share their story about the birth of their baby son, Bennett, who has endured much in his young life to the complete amazement of his doctors who did not think he would even take a breath because of sever brain defects.

It will be a wonderful day of encouragement and inspiration and so I hope you’ll join us either in Wexford on Saturday at 5pm or Sunday at 9 and 11am, or in Oakland on Sunday at 9, 11, and 5pm. Bring a friend to hear their truly incredible story!

Blessings,

Pastor Jay
