In the event that you're unaware, we want to remind you that tomorrow morning, Saturday January 9 from 9 - 12 a.m., Marc Hutchison and Stacy Gallagher are headlining our new radio program "Let's Talk - Real Life Radio with Stacy & Hutch."

This entire "experiment" began with a casual conversation with the general Manager of WORD FM.

First of all, keep in mind that this is a 50,000 watt fm station that has about a 70 mile radius of signal which means that 3.5 million people at a minimum can tune in to the program! (Of course, we'll be very pleased if we have 10,000 listening but over time we fully expect that number to grow!)

What's important to me is the fact that this program is doing two things:

• It's taking the message of hope and healing to the people who may never come to the church to hear it. The stories that will be told on the program and the responses of "Stacy & Hutch" are remarkable things (and a strong bullpen of other "expert counselors assures that). We expect that our counseling ministry and our church ministry will both significantly benefit from this effort to take the message and make it available to anyone who has access to a basic fm radio!
• The second thing is that we are doing this at a very minimal outlay of expenditure. We're all aware of the financial "squeeze" of the days that we're in but there occasionally come opportunities that are so attractive that they justify the sacrifice made to "close the deal." What we're doing would normally cost thousands of dollars and we're doing it every week for 3 hours using our own format and our own people for a fraction of that cost. This is good stewardship and it is also reflective of the creativity that is deeply woven throughout the fabric of North Way as a church.

I hope you'll do your part by listening to at least a portion of the program with "Stacy and Hutch" this Saturday from 9-12 a.m. on WORD FM (101.5).

Call in. Express your support of what they're doing or ask an honest question. The most important thing as they start is that people listen and spread the word to others who may not even know that such an amazing resource, the first and only one of it's kind in the Pittsburgh area, has emerged right out of the heart of our own church family.
