It was a real joy today to walk into a lunch with representatives from around the city to support the emerging ministry called "The Women's Choice Network."
This is the outcome of many months if not years of labor spearheaded by Amy Scheuring and the team that formally lead the Pregnancy Care Centers here in Wexford and in Oakland. The Women's Choice Network reflects the passion of many divergent groups spiritually and ethnically to help young women make wise decisions concerning their pregnancies by using the latest technology and caring counseling, which is not readily available for those who need it most.
For me, the greatest joy was to see the fruit of the labor of the seeds that the Lord allowed me to plant in two young people 25 years ago. Because of their tireless efforts this ministry has gone on for over 20 years now and has saved over 5,000 babies who would have been aborted had these ministries not been in existence. The very thought of that is more than I can even begin to put my head and heart around.
Let's pray for The Women's Choice Network and if you are inclined to support them in any way, reply to the blog and I'll get you in touch with the right people who are making a difference!
Blessings,
Dr. Jay
