Last night was the rally for the Sewickley Valley Core Team! We met at the future sight of the Sewickley Valley campus which is the Osborne Elementary School and with close to 100 people in attendance we were thrilled at the excitement, passion and clarity of vision for this very new effort to take the gospel to people in Sewickley and all around that area from Ambridge and Baden and Economy down to Bellevue and over to Moon and surrounding communities.
What most impressed me was the very broad spectrum of people who were represented last night from very young couples to "life long" members of the community who have spent their whole life in the same home and had never seen anything as exciting as what we are about to do take place!
What is so satisfying for me is that I have made friendships and was privileged to be part of the community that will create an environment where hundreds, if not thousands of people going forward, will discover God's grace through the cross.
Looking forward to a great weekend of worship and celebration here in Wexford and over in Oakland and in the foreseeable future ... in Sewickley Valley!
