What Leaders Love

One of the reasons why I was unable to post my blog yesterday was that I was preparing for an important leadership gathering yesterday evening.

One of the things I've come to understand is that leaders love to know what's going on in the church before the rest of the folks get that information. It's a simple principle but one that we can easily lose sight of. Leaders deserve to be informed and if possible, appreciated and affirmed at times when the rest of the congregation may not yet be in the loop.

Leaders love to know that they understand the heart of what is going on, the "why" as it were, as well as the what, when and how.

That's what happened last night as we gathered together and walked through our new addition, gave a current update and shared the essence of the fall vision. It was a great time of fellowship and a time that our leaders clearly love to be a part of.

Blessings,

Dr. Jay
