I have to confess that it's not too often that people raise the issue of "spiritual warfare" to me. It's one of those topics that we may be aware of, but rarely want to get into because we're not sure we understand it.
However, Jesus could not have been more clear about His conviction that we have a tangible enemy who is out to "steal, kill and destroy" our lives. (John 10:10)
Spiritual warfare is not for a handful of super spiritual leaders, it's for all of us who understand that we have an enemy who wants to destroy us and being a Christian does not prevent him from seeking to render our lives ineffectual.
If you're going through a difficult time right now, read Ephesians 6:10-18 and put on the full armor of God and rise up in the spiritual battle to which you've been called. Take authority over the evil one and ask God to release you from any of his strategies and you'll soon discover a new freedom that is promised to those of us who walk in the fullness of the blood covenant of our Savior.
Blessings,
DR. Jay
