In my conversation today with Rob Burkey, our Worship Pastor here at North Way, my anticipation for the "Adore" Christmas concert this Weds., Thurs. and Fri., Dec. 15, 16 & 17, went up through the roof!
Rob and his team have put together an outstanding variety of Christmas music, artistic expressions and of course, scriptural revelations that are going to both edify and entertain us in a 90 minute presentation that will be talked about for the entire Christmas season!
One of the great blessings of being part of a larger congregation is that you have access to internal resources that enable you to do creative and sometimes masterful things because of the giftedness that can go unnoticed during other times of the year.
However, I'm unable to escape the realization that nothing will ever match the angelic display of the heavenly hosts when God Himself declared "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests." Luke 2:14
And so, with fervor, passion and joy much like the angels made their declaration, so I anticipate our Christmas experience will envelope all who attend with an unusual measure of "favor" which seems to be the word that the Lord has impressed upon us for this season.
I trust that you will come, bring friends and neighbors who are churched or not and expect God to do great things.
