It was one of the most blessed moments of my entire year.
I walked into the "gathering room" of the staff to discover our entire team working together in harmony to assemble thousands of Christmas cards that were being put into envelopes and mailed to every one of our North Way family members!
It was a humbling moment for me as I realized that after 28 years of serving our church there was still a joy in their hearts to serve our family in this simple way.
We should never forget the joy and gift that relationships are to us. When moments of need arise like this it's an incredible blessing to see your friends and partners in ministry rally to help you accomplish something you could never do on your own. What a sound of joy that was to me! Christmas carols, laughter and brothers and sisters in Christ working to make a statement of love to our whole church. Wow!
