I didn’t get to this space yesterday because we had a long afternoon with our pastoral team here at North Way. It’s one of the great joys of my life to be able to work with guys who are sold out to Jesus and deeply desirous of going further in their faith while being committed to one another.
It’s rare to be part of a team where there’s mutual respect and appreciation but also the ability to really have a great time together, laugh, and even remind one another that we are “deeply flawed”!
This also gives me enormous hope as I think about the future of our church. With leaders such as these on our team, along with many others that weren’t there yesterday, the future is incredibly bright and positive.
I’m not sure if everyone fully appreciates the quality of the folks that have made a commitment to this pastoral team, but over time this will truly emerge with thanksgiving.
Hope to see you all at the Car Cruise kick off tonight anytime after 5 o’clock. It will be an amazing evening, not just if you love cars but if you really just enjoy being with people and seeing the amazing variety of personal expression in the automotive world.
