There are days when it seems like things go according to "script" and then days when you simply have to be flexible or risk being really broken!
Today was one of those days when there were a number of unexpected occurrences and meetings that simply caused my schedule to be upside down.
The joy of all this is in knowing that because I gave the Lord freedom to lead my day early in the morning, I can entrust Him with all that took place along the way. It's also interesting to see the coming together of vision with strategy. Both are necessary in our lives and in our church and it's interesting to see how the Lord is faithful to provide both as needed when you look to Him to do so.
Probably the best part was that many of the surprises of today involved "believers" who I did not formerly know. That adds a level of confidence and security in all that we may attempt together.
