As I reviewed this past weekend and the incredible opportunities for spiritual growth that we presented our people, I was “blown away” by the goodness of God to our congregation.
We had a great service of worship where our kids led us in praise and God’s word was received with openheartedness. We also had a well attended, high- quality Old Testament study during the 9 o’clock hour, about 20 folks who joined in the “You Discover” class and, probably the highlight for me, “FM LIVE”, which is the family oriented high-energy presentation of Biblical virtues that are taught throughout the month.
It’s not easy to make time for such things in our busy lives, but let’s be honest; we always seem to find time to do the things we want to do. Taking an hour for a class, sitting with your family for a great presentation, or just worshipping the Lord together are among the most important investments that anyone can make to strengthen their spiritual commitments and be equipped for life’s challenges.
