One of the principles that has served me well over the years is to sense the “momentum” of the Spirit and get in line with it.
In other words, there are times when we can putout a lot of effort but see little result. The reason usually is that God, for whatever reason, has not chosen to bless that particular effort at that time. This isn’t a condemnation, but an indication that it’s time to look elsewhere and find out what He’s doing.
When you find those things you’ll sense the momentum of God and that difficult things become easy, energy expended becomes less difficult and the fruit is far more satisfying!
We’re beginning to see that now in a number of ministries here at the church, but it’s also equally satisfying at a personal level. So, rather than fight those things, get in line with them. That is, align yourself with what God is doing and you’ll sense the momentum of the Spirit and be carried along by it just as Jesus promised you would! (See John 3)
