Today, I'm heading to an annual event that's held at Heinz Field Banquet Room for pastors from all over the region.
Chuck Gratner, General Manager of WORD-FM, has had a heart for pastors' unity during his 12 years here in Pittsburgh. Several other kinds of events for prayer and fellowship have not worked, but this one has taken off and will probably attract 400-500 pastors!
It's not an easy thing to bring pastors together with their busy schedules and divergent agetndas. However, something like this reminds us all that we're really one church in our region and we best serve the Kingdom when we are united in some way in His purposes and mission.
Finally, if you're a ready of this blog, pray that my invitation to these pastors to come back for a overnight spring retreat when they would be encouraged, taught and lifted up by some of the "Fathers of the Faith" would be well received! I'll give you a report tomorrow.
