Last night well over 250 people gathered in the Atrium for our semi-annual Joshua Round Table meeting.
Without going into the details of the history of the "JRT" the purpose is to cast a vision for the future based on the faith that we have received from the Lord about our mission, vision and calling. What was tangible, even palpable in the room last was a sense of unity about our calling as a "multi-site" church and the opportunity that we have to saturate our region with campuses that carry the gospel while incarnating the love of Christ in individual neighborhoods.
We appreciated the input from Jim Tomberlin, a nationally recognized multi-site expert, and several of our team members, but the most important thing was we sensed the Holy Spirit's presence and blessing! No one left last night without the sense that God has great plans for North Way as we walk through the upcoming succession and lean into His grace and empowerment to fulfill what He's called us to do.
