Twice a year, many of the core leaders of our church gather for what we call the Joshua Round Table here at North Way.
The concept of the Joshua Round Table is taken right out of Numbers 13 where Joshua and Caleb go to check out the Promised Land and return with a positive report that they can seize the land which God has set aside for them. Unfortunately, the people of Israel listened to the negative report about the giants in the land and the impossibility of their prevailing. As a result, that generation of the children of God wandered in the dessert for 40 years and never did take what God had promised.
Our goal tonight is to share with the people what we believe the Lord has prepared for us. We want to see these "faith leaders" step forward and make a statement that they're trusting God to continue to pour out His grace, blessing and favor upon us so that we can advance the mission He's given to us.
It's going to be an exciting night with a couple of guest speakers, some wonderful testimonies and a specific challenge about a piece of the land the Lord's prepared for us to take!
It's a joy to be part of a community that believes God is still working today!
Blessings,
Dr. Jay
