In a conversation I had today with a friend and colleague, we were discussing portions of Mark Driscoll's excellent book entitled "Doctrine."
One of the things that is often overlooked and even marginalized by many Christians is the incredible reality of the Trinity as an experience to be embraced by believers.
Here's a quote: "The Trinity is not a doctrine to be philosophized beyond the teachings of scripture but rather a humble, loving, worshipful, relational, diverse, submissive, and joyful life (bold mine) to be entered into by the Spirit through the Son to the Father."
Let's be honest, that's not something most believers even begin to fully integrate into their daily journey.
We too often ignore things that seem too mysterious for us to understand and yet when presented in such a clear fashion they make absolute sense in a way that will energize our daily journey with the Lord.
Remember, the Lord our God is one God, but He's also in three persons and as such, to be enjoyed in every dimension of His being!
Have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Dr. Jay
